Daksha Hirani
Bachelor of Business
I heard about ECU whilst I was studying at AUSI in Nairobi, Kenya.
ECU was often mentioned as a good University, especially for Business,
Computing and I.T. or Mass Communication. I chose to come to ECU
as they recognised the course that I had already completed. My course
is challenging, but I find it interesting. The lecturers and the
tutors help to make the classes interesting. I chose to major in
Accounting and Finance, as there are more job opportunities. For
any one wanting to complete a Business, Computing and I.T. or Mass
Communication degree, ECU via AUSI is the way! Everything at ECU
is well organised. When I first joined ECU, orientation was one
of the best things! The students were great and very friendly. All
this helped me to fit in straight away. Perth is such a warm and
gorgeous place!
I am so fond of it now that I don't even miss home. I love the people
in Perth! |

Deborah Kanyua
Bachelor of Business
I heard about ECU through my studies at AUSI in Kenya.
AUSI was a great pathway for me to start my studies and transfer
to ECU. I saved on time and cost. I chose ECU as it offered the
courses that I wanted to study and guaranteed me full exemptions
from my studies at AUSI. I find my course and units interesting
and challenging – especially Business Law! Everything revolves
around business in this century so why not be conversant with it!
The Joondalup campus is very pretty, while the International Students
Office is very friendly and helpful. At orientation, I was able
to familiarise myself with the campuses and therefore, during my
first couple of weeks at Uni, I felt less lost.
Perth is a small city with friendly people. For anyone considering
coming to ECU via AUSI, I would say to GO FOR IT!
You are bound to feel at home here! |
