AUSI offers the Diploma of Communications, which is equivalent to the first year in Australia. This focuses on both theoretical and practical dimensions of communication. It provides introductory level units where students are able to gain a perspective of communications and acquire fundamental skills, which are essential for their course and career. Upon transfer to ECU, students may choose from many areas of specialization within the Bachelor of Communications or Bachelor of Creative Arts.
